The original Danvers 126 is a Half Long Carrot that dates back to the 1870s. This is the old standard American carrot, adaptable and dependable. This variety has long withstood the tests of time and continues to remain a customer favorite. With a blunt, tapered, thick variety with 6-7-inch roots, it is nearly coreless. High carotene content. Very productive. great for soups and stews. Great tasting, tender and crisp, stores well and are used both fresh and for processing.
